Prime Steel Car Club

The Prime Steel Car Club was established in the fall of 1981. The objective of the club is to promote interest in various forms of automobile street rodding activities, including classic automobiles and special interest automobiles. To create good fellowship and sportsmanship among all members of the corporation engaging in the foregoing activities. To conduct corporation functions and activities in a manner befitting members of the street rodding sport and to encourage a better understanding of street rodding as a constructive sport among members of the public, press and law enforcement agencies. To promote safety in driving, automobile maintenance and overall vehicle operation.

Every year, usually the second weekend in April, the Prime Steel Car Club puts on an annual indoor car show in Grand Forks, ND. During the summer months, a weekly cruise night is held Tuesday evenings at the El Roco on the corner of HWY 2 and North Washington, in Grand Forks, ND .

The club is a non-profit organization, most of the proceeds go to the Prime Steel Park and local charities including the Salvation Army, Santa Claus Girls, St. Mike’s Church, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, GF Library, GF Exchange Club and three high school scholarships.
